Meet in the Fort Sumner Municipal School, 1001 East Sumner Avenue, Fort Sumner, NM 88119, elementary parking lot at 7 AM on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Race start time for the 15K and ½ marathon distances will be 7:30 AM. 5K and 10K races will start at 8:00 AM. Breakfast burritos will be available for sale by our BPA students. Water will be available on the out-and-back course that will be along the irrigation ditch. This will be a scenic run for participants.
Well-behaved dogs on leashes are permitted and children in strollers are allowed. It is an open course and all participants are expected to watch for traffic when crossing the roadways!!
Registration includes a free t-shirt if submitted at least one week prior to the race. No guaranteed shirt for registrations later than one week prior to the race
This race is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Fort Sumner. Proceeds are used to support a variety of student scholarships and activities in the Fort Sumner community.
